More About Me
Professional Experience
For the past 4 years, I have worked as a lifeguard, swim instructor, and intramural coach for my local YMCA.
I taught classes for all age levels, specializing in stroke development. These classes included classes of 8+ students, providing personalized feedback, and utilizing class management skills.
As a lifeguard, I worked at both indoor and outdoor pools as well as Silver Lake Park in Bellingham, MA. There, I collaborated with counselors to organize camp activities, maintained safety in crowded environments with 100+ people, and helped train new staff members.
Through this experience, I have learned how to collaborate with colleagues in and outside of my department, think clear-minded in times of crisis, and resolve conflicts while maintaining positive relationships with patrons.
